“Do you have an idea for a project that you would like to start? We’re offering training, small pots of funding and an amazing package of support based on what you need to start a new project.” (RISE, n.d.)
If you are interested in improving your community through a project, this post is for you.
RISE is a great organisation which aims to help raise awareness on domestic abuse and supports survivors to thrive again.
I was fortunate enough to be part of the community connector program and I have learnt so much from the various workshop providers and most importantly, I have met wonderful individuals whom I am still in touch with.
The goal of the community connector program, is to give you the necessary tools to make your project idea a reality and believe in yourself.
I recommend, to anyone who is in the process of crafting a project, to get in touch with RISE. Albeit, they are not currently taking new application forms, it is worth making a first contact and let the team know about your interest.
